This Sunday, July 12th, a special event will take place on Jūrmala beach – the Jūrmala Festival Sunrise Concert. Music played with the first rays of morning sun by the sea is a moment not to be forgotten. And we, Café Bitīte, will be there from early morning.
About the event
The Sunrise Concert is one of the most beautiful summer events in Jūrmala – it opens the international Jūrmala Festival. This year, the world-renowned organist Iveta Apkalna will perform on Dzintari beach in the early morning, and her organ music will blend with the sound of the sea and the light of the slowly rising sun. The concert starts at 4:30 AM, and admission is free. It is a poetic, almost magical experience – music, nature, and the sunrise in one moment. After the concert, the Jūrmala Festival will continue at Dzintari Concert Hall throughout the week.

So you can enjoy this morning with a warm coffee in hand or a hearty breakfast afterward, on this day, we will open our doors at 5:30 AM. This means you can get everything you need – fresh coffee, croissants, pastries, breakfast, and refreshing drinks – immediately after the sunrise concert, when the morning has just begun.

For the fourth year in a row
This is not our first time – Bitīte has been opening its doors early for Sunrise Concert mornings for the fourth year in a row. It has become our little tradition: to be awake with the city, to welcome sunrise visitors and offer the warmth with which to start a special day. We like to be a part of Jūrmala's most important moments.
